Commissions Activities
All members -- and even those still considering membership -- may participate in the work of our commissions. Each commission includes a member of the Session. You can contact one of the Session members for more information or simply join us at the next scheduled meeting (usually the second Wednesday of each month. but the times vary when holiday schedules interfere).
Our commissioners are the groups of dedicated members who guide our programs, oversee the maintenance of our building, and help us decide the best use of our resources.
Commission meetings begin with a potluck meal at 5:30, and then the groups break into their separate meetings. The first time you attend, if you are not sure which commission you are most interested in joining, you can spend a little time with each group to see where you would like to lend your time and talents. Commission members do occasionally move to different commissions if they want a change and/or if a particular group needs more members.

We can be thankful to members of this commission for working so hard to keep our church and its property in such good repair -- not always easy, given the age of the building and the constraints placed on us by the need to comply with the historical registry.
Building Improvements: The success thus far of our current Capital Campaign is allowing us to begin the first major phases of our building upgrades. Members of the Session are currently pursing bids and negotiating costs and design elements.
