The Meditation Class . . .

. . . starts after worship services at 11:30 on
11 September and will be
led by Dale Lugenbehl and Sandy Aldridge.

Please join us beginning Sunday, September 11 at 11:30 am for our series of Meditation Classes to be offered for the next several weeks.  The class focuses on learning to use meditation to become more peaceful and better in touch with ourselves, and to make positive changes in ourselves and the way we respond to events in our lives.  Bringing a means for taking notes during the class is highly recommended, and regular attendance is important since what is taught in one segment is built on what has been taught previously.  Our class will be led by Dale Lugenbehl and Sandy Aldridge.

Dale Lugenbehl has taught philosophy for more than 30 years, the past 17 of which have been at Lane Community College. His current areas of interest include the ethics of personal food choices, voluntary simplicity/low consumption living, environmentally conscious home food production, understanding the processes of personal and societal change, and engaged Buddhism. He is also a writer as well as a community educator, giving presentations and workshops as a volunteer on the above topics.
