As the first church in Cottage Grove, OR, founded in July 1855, we have established a long heritage of ministering to the community. The outreach program supports a worldwide mission effort and many local agencies in Cottage Grove and Lane County. Opportunities are provided to participate in study and action for mission beyond our congregation. Many of our members and friends donate numerous hours, talents, and leadership to a large number of services and other organization.

Senior Meals on Wheels
A sense of community is an important part of the total life of our congregation. We enjoy a variety of activies together such as music events, potlucks, study groups, progressive dinners, and after-worship fellowship hours.
The Deacons have an active ministry to care for shut-ins and others who need assistance for a number of reasons.
- They make holiday baskets for
shut-ins
- organize two luncheons a year
- make soup, cookies, and other meals for those who need meals prepared on a short-term basis.
- visit our shut-in church members
- provide rides to church, doctor appointments, and other outings when needed.
